He explained, “When we shot that scene, the filming set was like a steamer. The staffs have stayed up 3 nights and Jaejoong was in panic condition. Actually, there was no time for us to prepare our mind. Our body was already exhausted and our costumes were wet because of the sweat. We were in unstable state.”
“In fact, I couldn’t immerse myself into the scene. But the moment Jaejoong held me and called me ‘Father’, I entirely sank into it. Then I got immersed into the scene. ‘How shocked Kyungtak can be when father is dying in his arms?’ When Jaejoong who was playing Kim Kyungtak cried out of sorrow, I had that feeling even though my eyes were closed. I unknowingly fall into the emotion and my tears flowed. When I said ‘It’s warm to be in your arms’, my tears automatically came out.”
Kim Eungsoo praised Kim Jaejoong who was able to elicit his inner side, “Well and truly, an actor must be able to act. In the work flow, there are several scenes which are like a big mountain. If you want to be loved by the viewers, you must overcome that big mountain. As for that, Jaejoong did very well. Jaejoong has well expressed when the acting skill was really needed and when something was needed so be showed.”

SM Entertainment and JYJ have failed to reach an agreement on the issues surrounding the members’ TVXQ contract.
The trial between SM Entertainment and the members of JYJ took place on August 10 at 4PM KST in Seoul Central District Court. SM Entertainment’s representative Kim Young Min, along with lawyers from both sides, were present to debate the issue. The members of JYJ were not present for this trial.
In the 1-hour-30-minute trial, each side expressed their sentiments to the court, and afterwards, both sides expressed their opinions to each other. This day, Representative Kim left the meeting to have a conversation with a lawyer in the waiting room. He met with reporters during the mediation and stated, “The court is still in trial so nothing can be said.”
SM Entertainment and JYJ have been in trial since last May, going through a total of six hearings to reconcile their differences thus far. However, at the end of last year, both sides failed to reach an agreement and hearings have resumed. In May, both sides expressed their points during the hearing and waited for an official verdict, but the court advised a mutual adjustment so another trial date was issued.
However, the two sides have failed to meet a mutual agreement once again. JYJ’s lawyer told Star News, “The difference in opinion between the two sides is too large. An agreement could not be reached so it was decided that another trial will take place around September 13th.”
The lawyer continued, “SM Entertainment’s side is to ‘forget about the past’, and our side is to settle all the accounts and issues in court. Both sides diverge in opinion, but the court is encouraging a voluntary agreement or a mediation until a decision has been made.”
After three years of both sides battling for an agreement, the chances of the court making the final decision have risen. When the SM Entertainment representatives exited the court, they answered the reporters’ questions saying, “There is nothing for us to say yet.”
In 2009, JYJ stated, “[Please terminate the effects of our unreasonable exclusive contracts],” and filed a case. As the court accepted this, SM Entertainment filed a claim for compensation for damages in April of 2010. In February, the Seoul Central District Court dismissed both of SM Entertainment’s injunctions against JYJ.
After this recent hearing, it’s been confirmed that the exclusive contracts signed by both sides have been nullified, and that the decision to secure the individual entertainment activities of the JYJ members has been upheld.

[NEWS] 120801 Kim Jae Joong Endures Sweltering Heat While Filming for ‘Time Slip Dr. Jin’
Kim Jae Joong isn’t letting the Korean summer heat get in the way of his acting.
Kim Jae Joong is being commended by the film crew of his current MBC drama Time Slip Dr. Jin for his spirit after filming in the over-36 degree Celsius temperatures outdoors such as on July 31.
Despite the intense heat which caused those just standing on set to break into a sweat, Kim Jae Joong wore his full combat uniform, down to knee protectors and successfully filmed his fight scenes without issue.
The singer/actor has continued to film his scenes without protest or tiring and is fighting the heat by taking cover in an umbrella tent in between takes, wearing two layers of a sleeveless shirt which is made to absorb and quickly dry sweat and attaching cool sheets to his body.
Kim Jae Joong shared on filming in the heat saying, “Just swinging my sword a few times makes my entire body sweat as though rain has fallen on me but it has helped me to express the feelings of heartbreak in the fight scenes better. Focusing on the production, I’ve come to forget the heat.”

What is the reason for Kyung Tak (played by JYJ’s Jae Joong) to live in MBC TV’s drama series Doctor Jin?
Even though he was the child of a concubine, he’s royal to his father Kim Byung Hee (played by Kim Eung Soo) and his family. He also tries hard to live happily with his lover, whom he has loved for twenty years, and his best friend.

In the 16th episode, Kyung Tak tries to kill himself, being unable to overcome the sad situations he’s facing, but he fails because of Young Rae. After that, he becomes cold-hearted. Kyung Tak asks Young Rae when he fails to kill himself, “Tell me a reason why I have to live.” It seems like he has gotten an answer for that. He has chosen his father for now. He feels like he has lost everything, but it seems like he has chosen his father as a reason to live and becomes his secret weapon because his father is the only person who acknowledges him.

However, unlike the way he had things planned out in his head all of his efforts go down the drain and gets entangled in a complicated situation. In the midst of all the drama, Kim Kyung Tak’s own father deserts him when his son needs him the most.
During the episode, Kim Kyung Tak runs away after shooting Lee Ha Eung but runs into Hong Young Hwee (Jin Yi Han) and begins fighting him. Kim Kyung Tak eventually gets caught by Joo Pal (Lee Won Jong) and gets tortured to reveal all the information he knows.
Regardless of the pain, Kim Kyung Tak protects his father Kim Byung Hee (Kim Eung Soo) and refuses to say a word. Kim Kyung Tak somehow escapes but falls into a state of panic after looking back on his unfortunate fate and plans to take his own life.
Just when he is about to end his life, Kim Kyung Tak sees Hong Young Rae (Park Min Young) and begins to cry, realizing he can’t bear to even think about leaving Hong Young Rae.

Instead, he told Hong Younghui, who came to persuade him to be on Heungsun Gun’s side, “Did Heungsun Gun promise you that he wouldn’t abandon you? If you’re afraid of being abandoned, you shouldn’t have let others use you. We’re in same situation, only the sides are different. You didn’t really realize that? In episode 15 of ‘Dr.Jin’, Kim Kyungtak was refused by Hong Youngrae whom he has loved for a long time. And then he was forsaken by his father Kim Byunghee because he has “dishonored the family with the marriage incident.” Consequently, Kim Kyungtak pointed a sword at his beloved Hong Youngrae and leveled a gun at Kim Byunghee (T/N: I think the reporter made mistake here. He got hurt and was continuously placed in chaotic situations. The process of resolving the conflicted relationships and feelings is also complicated. In front of Hong Youngrae, he must show the feelings of love and also hatred even though he loves her.
