Group JYJ (Kim Jaejoong, Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu) are drawing attention for being chosen as the honorary ambassadors of various state events that were held by the Korean government.

JYJ will be attending the 18th Presidential Inauguration on the 25th and are expected to perform a remix of representative songs of the 90s, including ‘I Know’. The international superstar Psy has also been invited to the event, and is planning to perform his worldwide hit ‘Gangnam Style’.

JYJ is an honorary ambassador for 2014 Incheon Asian Games

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong recently talked how he feels about being an honorary ambassador for a state function.

On February 20, JYJ attended an appointment ceremony, which was held at Lotte Hotel in Seoul for the ’2014 Incheon Asian Games.’

At the ceremony, Kim said, “I think we should satisfy and enrich the public with music. We are honored and thankful to have the great chance promoting the event to the public.”

“Since we perform abroad a lot, we can promote Korean culture and I think that makes us to grow.”

Kim added that he enjoys watching table tennis and badminton during the Asian Games.

Seoul: The organising committee of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games said Tuesday that South Korea`s pop group JYJ will act as the grand continental event`s publicity ambassador.

"We hope JYJ`s international fame will help increase Asian people`s awareness of the Incheon Asian Games and make the event a success," said Kim Young-soo, president of the organising committee

JYJ’s Jaejoong thanks Thai fans with a selca

After successfully finishing a solo concert in Thailand, JYJ‘s Jaejoong thanked his multitudes of Thai fans for the amazing concert.

“Thailand..it was fun~” he posted to his Twitter earlier today. “I’m going to bed soon because I have a cold ㅜㅜ”

Despite the successful performance, Jaejoong looks somewhat haggard and tired as he suffers from the ill effects of the flu, yet still manages to flash a V-sign before heading to bed.

Jaejoong to Release Repackage Album “Y” on February 26, Will Also Begin Asia Tour

Looks like Jaejoong fans will have icing on their cake in February! the On February 26, JYJ’s Jaejoong will release a repackage album “Y” that will have two new songs. “Y” will be a repackage album of Jaejoong’s first solo mini album “I.”

C-JeS Entertainment stated, “Jaejoong’s first solo mini album received a lot of love in South Korea and overseas. Similar to that amount of love, we believe that “Y” will be an album that will be a good gift for the people who want to see new sides of Jaejoong. The repackaged album will have two more songs including ‘Only Love’ which was dance song shown as a surprise at the Kintex performance. The repackage album will also contain a special picture.”

Kim Jaejoong Sees Good Results In China And The USA

The music video of ‘Mine’, the title track of Kim Jaejoong’s first solo mini album ‘I’, has topped the Korean video category of Yinyuetai’s V Charts, China’s biggest music video site, for the second consecutive week.

‘I’ also ranked second on the US Billboard World Album charts.

C-JeS Entertainment, the agency of JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, stated that this proves that Kim Jaejoong’s popularity has spread from Asia to other continents such as North America.

Recently, Kim Jaejoong’s ‘One Kiss’ topped the iTunes rock charts in nine countries including Singapore and Indonesia. Though ‘I’ is a mini album, it topped the weekly, daily, and real-time Hanteo Charts. It also topped album sales charts in Taiwan and Japan, proving that Kim Jaejoong is extremely popular both domestically and overseas.
