Jaejoong Is Making A Repackaged Album

After enjoying much success with his solo debut, JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong will be releasing a repackaged version of his first solo album!

CJeS Entertainment announced on February 7th that Jaejoong will release the repackaged of his first solo album ‘I’, which will be titled ‘Y’. The new version will contain the original five tracks and two additional tracks, including the dance track “Only Love” which he performed in his concert lastmonth in Kintex Ilsan.

Jaejoong’s first solo album has been receiving positive reviews for emphasizing his vocal talent through an intense rock sound. The album ranked #1 on various real time chart, daily chart and weekly chart, beating off fierce competitors.

‘Y’ repackaged album is scheduled to be released on February 26. Online and offline reservations will start on February 13.

Jaejoong is Sad About JYJ′s Inability to Appear on TV

Although its legal proceedings with SM Entertainment have come to a conclusion, JYJ is still unable to appear on TV as singers.

As such, JYJ member Kim Jae Joong recently came to voice his sorrow at being unable to perform on TV.

In a recent interview with enews, Kim Jae Joong said, “It′s not just our problem, but we′re really sorry.”

The long battle came to an end in December with an agreement between SM and JYJ, but the main channels are still treading carefully around the issue of the group′s televised appearances.

Kim Jae Joong said about the lack of televised promotions, “People around me tell me ′you′re doing great even without television′ or ask ′aren′t you doing okay without it?′ but that′s how it looks when you see things from JYJ′s point of view. Celebrities need to approach their fans through the media, but for us, it′s the fans who have been seeking us and our music.”

He added, “Elementary school students these days don′t know us. Though they do know us, they know us as actors, so that′s saddening. We′ve spent almost four years this way, and we want to repay our fans who have been coming in to visit us.”

Kim Jae-Joong said, “It’s sad. It’s not just a problem of ours. Some say ‘Why do you have to appear on other broadcast programs while you are acting in dramas and movies’. But we have fans love us and our music. We entertainers need service of showing them what they want.

We had 4 years of restriction, but now we want to repay our fans. I think we need to give bigger service through broadcast or concert. Also, there are elementary student and middle school student fans. I think people around them may not know us. It’s sad.”

Meanwhile, Kim Jae-Joong released first solo album ‘Mine’ on January 17, and is going to hold a concert ‘You’re, My and Mine’ at Ilsan Kintex on January 26 and 27 to meet fans.

JYJ’s Jaejoong shares photos of his father via Twitter

JYJ‘s Jaejoong recently shared a photo of his father onto his official Twitter page.

On February 10th, the singer uploaded the photos above (left) and wrote, “My father, who’s dream was to become an actor.. If only I resembled at least half of my father.. My father, who got married at the age of 20 in 1965.”

Jaejoong then shared another photo (right) and tweeted, “[My father] must’ve been shy getting married. Ha.”

Netizens who saw the photos immediately took notice of his father’s superior facial features and good looks. They commented, “Good genes do run in the family“, “His father is so handsome“, and “No wonder he’s so good looking.”

In related news, Jaejoong will be releasing his repackaged album, ‘Y‘, on the 26th and then embark on his Asia tour.
