The German Asian Music Charts grow out of a special voting system, where German
fans can vote for the new releases of the month and the top 20 of the month
before. These charts are made with statistical methods and are representative
for the Asian music trends in Germany. The German Asian Music Charts started in
August 2010.

28Feb2013 [NEWS] JYJ to perform at the Tokyo Dome again after a 4 year absence
JYJ comprising of Kim Jae Joong, Park Yoo Chun, and Kim Jun Su will be
returning to the Tokyo Dome to perform this April after a long absence.
Japanese fans who have waited for a long time for this good news were no doubt
elated to learn that it has finally been confirmed. They expressed their joy
through SNS with cheers and feelings of gratitude,
and also hints at an intense battle that lies ahead for fans who want to get
tickets.
C-JES Entertainment announced on February 28th,
“JYJ will be performing at the Tokyo Dome from April 2nd – 4th. This marks
their return to the Tokyo Dome after a 4 year absence since their last
appearance in June 2010. This will also be their first official activity in
Japan since September 2010, after the conclusion of their lawsuit with Avex
Entertainment which ended in favour of JYJ.”
2010 marked the last year of JYJ’s activities in
Japan before they had to suspend their activities because of their lawsuit with
Avex Entertainment. In that year, the group’s debut release ‘The…’managed to
achieve physical album sales of 175,000, while their four-day ‘Thanksgiving
Live in Dome’ concerts at Osaka and Tokyo Domes in June were instant sell-outs
as they performed in front of more than 200,000 fans. But Avex Entertainment
decided to suspend all of JYJ’s activities in September 2010, and JYJ had no
choice but to end their Japan activities. But despite that, JYJ continued to
receive much love from fans through their dramas and drama OSTs.
In October 2011, JYJ held their “Unforgettable Live
Concert” in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan from October 15th – 16th with over 84,000
in attendance. They were praised for the choice to hold their concerts in
Ibaraki Prefecture, which was a region that was hit hard economically by the
earthquake. JYJ then held its first-ever large-scale international fan fair for
K-POP in South Korea in June 2012. By the end of the 4-day fan fair, it had set
a record for the most number of foreign fans at an event with 7,000, and was a
huge justification of the high popularity that they still enjoy.
JYJ expressed, “We feel very excited just thinking
of the fact that we will be able to meet our Japanese fans after such a long
time. It holds a lot of meaning to be able to stand on stage and perform at the
Tokyo Dome. This will be our comeback after 4 years, and we will seek to bring
to our fans the best and most thrilling performances that only JYJ has with
confidence.”
The Japanese organizer said, “In Japan, JYJ is
acknowledged and recognized by the public to be an idol group who has perfect
vocals and possessing the strongest dance charisma on stage. Since the news of
JYJ performing at Tokyo Dome broke out, enquiries about the sale of tickets
from fans have been explosive, and it’s likely to continue in the next few
days.”
Meanwhile, C-JES Entertainment has also set up a
JYJ official fan page in NAVER LINE. NAVER LINE currently has over 1 billion
registered users spread all over the world, and is available in 5 different
languages, namely Korean, Mandarin, Japanese, English, and Vietnamese. Fans
from Asia, Europe, and the rest of the world will be able to get the latest
news about JYJ if they subscribe to the fan page within NAVER LINE.
