JYJ performed for the visiting spouses of global leaders attending the ‘2012 Nuclear Security Summit.’
JYJ appointed as the honorary ambassadors performed two songs ‘Be My Girl’ and ‘In Heaven’ at the Blue House on Tuesday.
The attendees included those from Gabon, Nigeria, South Africa, Malaysia, Vietnam, Switzerland, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Italy, Chile, Turkey, Philippines, the United Nations and the European Union to a total of 16 spouses came and enjoyed the performances.
According to JYJ the spouses of Switzerland, Vietnam, Philippines, Chile, and South Africa especially waited until the end of the event and asked for photo. South Korean first lady Kim Yoon-ok also greeted Yoochun stating, “I enjoy watching the drama ‘Rooftop Prince.’”
An official at the public relations stated, “All the attendees enjoyed the performance. This was another opportunity to present the excellence of K-Pop to the world.”
JYJ shared their reflection, “We are happy to have been invited to a meaningful event introducing Korea’s excellence to the spouses of global leaders. It feels great to have an opportunity promote the national prestige after the world tour, although it was a short time I hope it will be a precious memory in Korea for the guests that were present.”
