With both the VIP and Floor sections sold out, there are only 300 general tickets available for the K-Pop premier show.
After more than 30 hours of flight time and with 40 news reporters from their own country, the Korean group JYJ will arrive on March 7 to Santiago, being the first top pop Korean (also know as K-Pop) group to visit Chile.
This past Tuesday, JYJ member Park Yoochun posted on his twitter a picture of himself and fellow member Kim Junsu on the plane that will bring them to our country. “Well have a safe trip” he commented. However, what has truly caught everyone’s attention from the picture uploaded is Junsu’s look, who is sporting blonde hair for his role in the musical “Elizabeth.”
In addition, as a way to excite their fans attending even more, it was announced that for their final stops of their world-tour, they will dance to a remix version of “Get Out” from their last album. For this reason, 6 dancers and 5 stylists also accompany them on their trip. Another interesting note is they have asked for a Chilean chef to cook traditional dishes from the country for their meals, as well as a Korean chef to make them feel at home, miles away, with their native dishes.
This Friday, March 9 will be the day the JYJ will preform in front of thousands of fans at the Caupolicán Threatre and confirming once again, the great media sensation that Korean music has achieved across distant countries, such as the United States, Japan, Chile and Peru, this being one of two final destinations of their tour.
JYJ is a group formed by members, JAEJOONG/YUCHUN/JUNSU, world-renowned singers of the group Dong Bang Shin Ki (東方神起) or simply TVXQ, whom are considered today’s best selling male-vocal group.
In 2011, the trio decided to partner with U.S. producers Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins to record their debut album “The Beginning.”
The first single, “Ayyy Girl” was produced by Kanye West, who also took part in the single with his vocals along with spoken word artist, Malik “Te Poet” Yusef .
